Job Description
The Marketing and Product Team in CIGNA Pharmacy Management will focus on:
Development of product and benefit capabilities, including support on clinical programs that lead to improved health outcomes at competitive cost.
Developing and executing individual, client and physician communications; improving the quality of all existing materials and leveraging the breadth of proof points that have been developed.
Capitalizing on all CIGNA wide initiatives to drive customer engagement, improved service experience, reduction in culturally related healthcare disparities.
Creation of compelling marketing materials that assist our sales organization and insurance consultants in the demonstration of our capabilities, including the value of combining pharmacy and medical benefits under one roof ¿ CIGNA's and in the value of leveraging our specialty pharmacy capabilities to meet this growing component of health care spend.
Improving the physicians¿ experience with CIGNA, including easier access to information and forms via the web, demonstrated value of our programs in supporting physicians.
Responsibilities
THE ROLE
The Marketing Communications Manager reports into the Pharmacy Strategy, Product and Marketing team.
Major responsibilities for this role include:
Establishing communication plans and development of all supporting materials that provide compelling reasons for clients and consultants to consider Cigna for their pharmacy benefits needs.
Advocate for inclusion in various company-led and industry meetings to ensure the integration value message hits the market in as many venues as possible. This includes submissions for consideration at the National Business Group on Health, the annual Rx Innovation Award by the Pharmacy Benefits Management Institute, National Producer Advisory Council.
Establishing and managing the pharmacy component of the regional sales training process (SYNERGY).
Leveraging all aspects of external communications channels including producer webinars.
Driving inclusion of the pharmacy benefits and associated integration messages in segment-level communication vehicles, with emphasis on national and regional segments. This includes competitive assessment of our value proposition, messages and associated proof points.
