Responsible for managing proposal teams across multiple disciplines and ensuring delivery of high quality, strategic proposal responses for standard to highly complex and highly visible proposals and influencing internal partners and field teams through the execution of strategy and solution development process and advocating and removing barriers to help drive profitable sales, growth and retention.
Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:
Partners with team and key business leaders to cultivate and manage critical relationships with internal/external customers and advocate and remove barriers for the team to support execution of proposal strategy and key initiatives with enterprise-wide impact. Aligns resources to support achievement of key performance metrics with full consideration of all relevant factors including capacity, complexity and team member development. Drives proposal teams, internal partners and field teams as a trusted advisor through the strategy and solution development process by demonstrating and sharing the highest levels of market and company knowledge, a big picture perspective and best/most successful proposal response and business model practices to meet emerging market needs and affect the financial plan. Proactively influence those factors to align with Aetna's goals based on knowledge of economy, industry trends and market place conditions. Initiates and drives continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize business performance by requiring the consistent use of all workflows, both inside and outside of proposal team, and promoting and championing strategic process improvement initiatives and solution implementation including any required training and/or change management
Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:
We are looking for a seasoned professional who has demonstrated, strong skills and experience in proposal management, RFP, team staff management, communications/marketing, financial concepts related to our business and selling strategies.
