SYNOPSIS OF THE ROLE:
In cooperation with the beverage manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and daily management of the wine program.
You will be on the floor for service providing recommendations to guests and deeply involved in staff education.
This is a diverse role with responsibilities in both management and the wine program.
A solid knowledge of, and passion for, American wines, spirits, and beers.
A passion in bio dynamic and organic wines.
Significant experience in fine-dining restaurants and preferable a formal training in hospitality.
You posses good leadership, organizational, and strong people skills.
An interest in beverage pairings outside of the traditional.
Knowledge of the New Nordic philosophy and cooking style is helpful.
