The Director of Corporate Sales will lead strategy and execution for Quartzs bulk membership strategy. Youll build a Rolodex of decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies, top universities and other high affinity businesses to promote and sell bulk access to Quartz Membership. The Director will be responsible for the strategy development and sales execution of new B2B Membership programs designed in the US and internationally. Responsibilities: Construct, forecast and manage the corporate sales pipeline to meet Quartzs 2019 membership target Build strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies and elite universities on behalf of Quartz Build a scalable inbound and outbound lead management strategy Coordinate the development of sales materials and marketing campaigns to support bulk membership Forecasting, budgeting, P&L management on revenue Manage day-to-day operations Inform onboarding strategy of new corporate / university members and stakeholders, drive adoption/engagement Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) 6+ years of experience selling digital services to enterprise clients. Media / membership experience preferred Excellent client management skills Experience selling into different functional teams across organizations (i.e., knowledge management, employee benefits and marketing, Library & Research Directors, General Managers, Knowledge Officers etc.) High energy level with strong sense of urgency to build business Organized, flexible, and self-motivated Comfortable and competent working with spreadsheets Ability to travel 25% of the time to pitch services and develop key relationships CRM, Excel, GSuite fluency Enterprise Values Quartz recruits talent for two salient attributes or qualities: Force of Ideas: At the center of Quartz work are the ideas within our writing.
