You will be part of a team that builds software and hardware solutions that employ computer vision and machine learning to improve the human machine interface with the AR system. As a software development engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of a complex software system. You will be working with a cross-functional team to prototype, design, and develop software solutions that span both edge-compute and cloud-based systems.Basic qualifications Completed BS in Computer Science or equivalent Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.Preferred qualification Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Experience developing in AWS Experience with Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning techniques and technologies Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.Amazon.com is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation.by Jobble
