Are you looking to lead radical and transformational innovations that create value for millions of customers while building a new billion dollar business? Do you want to work at a company where you are encouraged to build and have the autonomy to push boundaries? Invention has become second nature at Amazon, and the pace of innovation is only accelerating, and the breadth of our businesses expanding. Amazon's growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit to create new products, have an unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems.
The primary role of a Senior Product Manager within Amazon is to invent new products and features on behalf of customers: working cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, developing marketing plans to drive awareness and adoption, segmenting customers and developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, managing strategic projects, and being the business owner of the product.
From Day 1, Product Managers are given ownership of large products; the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience and the business. Over their careers, successful product managers will be exposed to multiple businesses/products, and pushed to grow into senior level general managers that independently run large business segments and organizations.
In this role, you will help create and drive the long-term vision for how we buy grocery items for Fresh and Prime Now and how to reduce waste associated with bringing the products into our distribution network. You'll take ownership for designing and executing solutions that improve system scalability, reduce defects, and improve systems and processes around instock management. This PM will lead the development of consumer-focused product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis, frequently meeting with our internal customers to gauge pain points and build creative solutions to solve them. You will develop requirements to create or enhance systems and tools used to manage scaling instock processes globally across the many countries where Prime Now and Fresh operate. In this role, the PM will need to partner with and build a strong relationship with internal Retail Tech, Data Services, and partner Tech teams to drive projects for Prime Now and Fresh. Always focused on the end customer, you will collaborate with regional instock management teams, supply chain executors, selection leads, and other teams both inside of Prime Now/Fresh and in broader Amazon to ensure complete and supportable processes and tools.
