The Administrative Credentialing Specialist will ensure accurate and timely coordination and facilitation of enrollment for new and existing dentists with insurance providers within our affiliated dental groups. Responsibilities: Complete payer enrollment and re-credentialing applications for each insurance plan; obtain doctor?s signature, attach credentials, submit and track applications. Participate in Payer Enrollment projects and initiatives. Respond in a timely manner to emails relating to Payer Enrollment. Manage and audit provider roster and participation reports for accuracy. Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly conference calls with assigned affiliates to keep an open channel of communication and compile a call summary to send to all participants. Follow up with affiliates and payers on outstanding issues in a timely and consistent manner. Provide an excellent customer service experience to our affiliates. Preserve and update database using our online software system to maintain accuracy of the payer enrollment information submitted. Conduct training sessions (via Skype meeting) to support new doctor?s understanding of enrollment process. Support and commit to a healthy relationship between the doctor group, affiliate and Payer Enrollment team. Required Skills: College degree or equivalent work experience. Experience working in a dental office or credentialing in a healthcare environment. Experience with commercial payers, Medicaid, state or government insurance plans. Reliable attendance necessary to adhere to your assigned schedule, as established by the Payer Enrollment Supervisor. Familiarity with billing procedures and payer reimbursement a plus. Strong verbal communicator (clear annunciation, ability to influence & engage, empathetic and respectful tone). Attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Goal oriented and focused on delivering results that exceed expectations and meet deadlines.
