Quality management is a support function with a role of assisting the business process owners through support, advice and monitoring. The QM assists in clarifying and documenting processes including their interactions.
The quality manager is responsible for the QA process, which includes:
Specific ResponsibilitiesBe thoroughly knowledgeable of Andritz Group and PEW QHS policies, procedures and reporting requirements. Enforce compliance within the PEW NA product groups.Provide quality management support to the PEW NA product groups with priorities as directed by the VP Operations.Assist in establishing quality goalsMonitor product group KPIsIdentify responsibilities for QHS monitoring and reporting. Maintain a roster these responsibilities (ref. PEW_NA_QHS reporting responsibilities.xlsx).Monitor and ensure that reporting responsibilities are fulfilled according to due dates.Provide training, as required, on quality management principles and tools, the Sharepoint document control system and the ASAP NCR system.Keep the VP Operations informed of product group KPIs, progress toward achieving quality goals and other issues relevant to the quality management system.
