We are a fine dinning restaurant that has been around for over twenty years. Looking for some one to join this team that can bring professionalism and energy to this still growing company. This position is for AM Sous chef Monday- Friday some of the attributes we are looking for are:


Experience in a similar level role

Experience making prep list, placing orders, working with vendors

Previous accountability for food cost and labor cost and an understanding of how these costs are derived

A DOH Food Handler Card. If you don t have one, you will be required to get one within the first 30 days of employment The Sous Chef will be responsible for:

Placing orders as necessary

Creating prep lists as necessary

Managing the line and assuring food quality and presentation during service

Assisting with BOH facilities maintenance and upkeep

Assisting in training line and prep cooks, particularly with new dish launches and new hires

Disciplining BOH staff as necessary

Being accountable for food and BOH labor costs

Working the line as needed throughout service

Maintaining food safety standards at Department of Health standards so that we are always ready to receive an A grade
