  • This position reports to the Head of Project Leadership and Portfolio Management.
  • The Portfolio Management leader will be required to work collaboratively with key stakeholders at both a leadership and program team level, to develop and implement portfolio processes, establish consistency in governance processes within the Research and Development Review Committees, and track key metrics across Project Teams (internal and external).
  • This position requires a high degree of leadership, teamwork and a broad knowledge of all aspects of research and development, including: clinical, CMC, regulatory, non-clinical development and the IND enabling process.
  • This position will be responsible for creating a framework and structure to track project milestones, resources, portfolio reporting, and analytics.
    Responsible for tracking project status and aligning FORMA organizational goals with available project resources.
  • Conduct analyses to enable portfolio prioritization decisions and trade-offs.
  • The Portfolio Manager will interface with clinical and commercial functional lines and maintain a consistent and balanced view of FORMAs portfolio value through internal and external valuation tools.
  • This role will assure projects within the FORMA portfolio are aligned with the FORMA Leadership Team (FLT) expectations of milestone deliverables.
    Aligns Project presentations with desired messaging.
  • Work with Project Leads to assure unambiguous definitive presentations that define project strategies and plans.

  • 15+ years in portfolio and project leadership roles and 10+ years supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management and Project Leadership and demonstrated experience in advancing therapeutics through development is required.
  • Experience in leading projects through IND filing and early development is required. Experience in NDA filings is preferred.
  • Experience in oncology and non-malignant hematology therapy areas preferred.
    Knowledge of marketing and product commercialization is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, within and beyond their team, including with management and external stakeholders.
  • Able to lead by influence in complex matrixed organizational structure.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, ands ability to teach and mentor others at FORMA.
  • Position may have one or more direct reports.
