The Head of Transformation reports directly to AXA Partners Global COO with pool of project managers and direct reports TBC.. He/She is responsible for ensuring that transformation agenda and the resulting initiatives (transformation, simplification and other projects) are aligned with AXA Partners strategy, well designed and executed, and expected impacts and benefits delivered thanks to comprehensive and consistent roll-out and change management plans.. The role acts as the key cornerstone across all functions, at global and regional level, providing expert advice and coaching to key executives and teams to ensure best-practice execution of the AXA Partners approach to transformation.. Furthermore, the role holder leads the Transformation Program through an effective and robust program and project management culture deployed through a team of project managers, building and coordinating a consolidated transformation roadmap at global and regional level, tracking progress, identifying issues and risks, and proactively contributing to provide solutions or escalations.. Lastly, as part of Transformation the role holder works tightly with other teams and notably workforce management, financial measurement, innovation, country heads and ExCom to ensure the organisation's means but also culture and priorities match its transformation imperatives.. Co-ordinate AXA Partners global transformation agenda working closely with each functions, regions and, finance and HR teams to understand business case content and to provide global oversight on activity and benefits to be realised, Simplify and lead transformation investment governance for IT and non-IT projects including the SPC process, i.e. tracking of the transformational efforts against Strategic Plans :. In tight collaboration with transformation leaders and HR (workforce management, organizational design and internal communication), co-ordinate the transformation of the AXA Partners operating model to better address the needs of our customers, maximize profitability and support the growth agenda,. Ensure the right initiatives are undertaken or existing solutions reused, and the benefits are being fully realized throughout the business,. Build and keep up-to-date an integrated transversal transformation roadmap at Global level and plans at Region level aligned with AXA Partners strategic priorities, managing interdependencies, and optimizing the investment and change management capabilities,. Set-up an effective transversal governance structure for the transformation projects at AXA Partners ExCom-level and local level while leveraging (or proposing changes in) already existing Transformation project governance. The role ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of each transformation initiative,. Ensure the rapid and smooth execution of initiatives efforts, timelines are adhered to initiatives by leveraging transformation leaders, finance and HR and by keeping executives aware of any red flags concerning the timing or integration process,. Lead transversal initiatives from their conception to their execution and the realisation of their expected benefits,. Ensure drive and discipline in integrating financial and other KPI tracking into program management and leadership, coordinate with Finance Transformation Tracking team to measure the advancement of the transformation programs (e.g. with the support of Wave / Planview and other project tools / initiatives),. Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication to maintain alignment, facilitate strategic arbitrage and enable progress,. Co-ordination of project management resource needs & allocation of resources: strategic arbitrage between projects (budget and resources). Provide leadership of the Global Transformation Program which articulates a clear and compelling vision of change through the use of evidence-based business cases including sound financial analysis and resources implications. Support budget and strategy discussions in articulating potential trade-offs and inter-dependencies between BAU, projects and transformation imperatives,. Ensure that Transformation leaders at BU, regions or Support Functions are resourced effectively through project managers and through working effectively with business support. Support a transversal view, coordination, and escalation of issues and risks signaled by functional transformation Leaders,. Workforce management on pool of PMs:. Surface capacity, pacing, resourcing issues and any other red flag issues needing leadership attention and coordinating external resources where planning highlights peak activity and no internal resources are available,. Construction of PMs' career path & PM's skills development:. Define and establish the professional family of transformation project managers across the world to set up a team structure that is conducive to the delivery of business objectives,. Champion project management disciplines and provides the processes, structures, and tools for individual project management and program management across the transformation,. Support project managers with skills in process excellence, project management, facilitation, problem solving, accelerating transformation and value creation to drive toward required outcomes,. With the support of HR, define adequate career path and learning solutions to ensure the upskilling of project managers (i.e. Project Management Academy),. Along with HR, change management and communication teams, and ExCom steer efforts to impact and reinforce consistency and robustness of change and culture change backing the transformation.. At least 10-15 years' experience in a similar function and challenges. Knowledge of the insurance sector would be a plus,. Proven track record of strategically aligning financial resources with people resources, technology and other assets to achieve desired strategic outcomes. Strong influential leadership behaviors to drive alignment, arbitrage and delivery at all levels,. Significant experience in change management and digital / business transformation of a large multinational company,. Strong understanding of operations and business processes,.
