The Lead Financial Analyst - Actuarial reports to the Head of Reinsurance. The Reinsurance Department manages traditional mortality reinsurance arrangements both ceded and assumed. Responsibilities include: Production of Statutory and GAAP financials statement for select LoBs under the supervision of Head of Reins Production of EEV, EEM and Plan Handle assumed earnings analysis Actuarial, modeling and/or financial reporting Supervise and review actuarial calculations, valuation, pricing, projections, etc. Ad hoc research on treaty matters including, but not limited to, disputes with reinsurers, internal inquiries, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree preferred 4+ years of experience with actuarial financial reporting and analysis 2+ years Associated topics: actuarial, actuarial analyst, actuarial assistant, actuarial director, cost, director actuary, investment actuary, life actuary, probability, statistics
