Job Description

As active team members focused on an industry, Corporate Banking Vice Presidents assist coverage bankers in the delivery of the full breadth of products and services to clients and prospects. Vice Presidents are called on to:

* Support various financial analyses, develop financial models and including capital structure analysis
* Perform comprehensive and in-depth company, industry research and peer benchmarking, developing industry specific expertise
* Prepare and drive content of presentation materials for clients, including pitch book, lender and investor presentations and information memorandums
* Prepare various committee memorandum, including acquisition financing and normal course capital approval
* Participate in client planning sessions and monthly product partner meetings
* Participate in client meetings
* Demonstrate the ability to coordinate and build global relationships
* Communicate and interact with both core and extended client team members from across the enterprise, as well as with internal partners and product areas
* Manage several projects at once and work effectively as a supervisor, as an individual and as part of a team
* Participate in the recruitment, development and training of junior resources


* 3 - 6+ years of experience in Corporate Banking
* MBA degree with outstanding academic qualifications or Corporate Banking analyst/associate experience
* A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
* Strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus
* Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
* Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus
* Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
* Dedication to building a career in the corporate banking industry
* Experience in Consumer & Retail banking sector and/or Corporate Banking preferred
