Summary of Position

We are currently seeking a HR Administrator who would be responsible for providing day to day assistance and support to the HR Department.

This position reports to the Vice President of HR and is based at our Princeton, NJ headquarters.

Essential Job Functions

  • Review and process all paper and electronic changes to update employee information in HRIS system
  • Process all new hires from Onboarding into Core HRIS system in a timely manner to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Handle new hire processing, including scheduling and meeting on-site new hires to complete onboarding
  • Act as point person for all onboarding issues
  • Maintain employee files, paper and electronic and upload public information sites as needed.
  • Handle I-9 re-verification process.
  • Provide daily customer service support to on-site and center staff while responding to all inquires in a timely manner, including first point of contact for HR email mailboxes.
  • Prepare and distribute employee anniversary certificates and prepare monthly anniversary and birthday lists. Notify managers of milestone anniversaries for their direct reports. Work with vendor(s) if necessary.
  • Act as the HR representative/point of contact for any on-site event/activity, assist in planning process or participate on committee, if needed, Also act as the point person for any HR-led non-profit initiatives.
  • Handle all employment verification requests or provide vendor information as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director and HR Business Partners.
  • Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 3 years of professional HR experience with a strong emphasis on customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Must be team oriented, self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Should have a proactive work ethic and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet
  • Knowledge of UltiPro a plus
