The Manager of People Development and Performance will work closely with business leaders to implement strategies that support the business objectives and values. We are seeking someone with HR business partner acumen who will be able to lead cultural change, build internal business partnerships, provide coaching to develop others, and offer creative solutions to business issues.. This position requires someone who has excellent judgement, a high regard for confidentiality, and the skill to quickly gain the trust of key stakeholders. ?In addition, we value someone who acts as a change agent and works effectively in a very fast paced environment.


  • Translate business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR actions, initiatives, and policies that positively impact company growth.

  • Provide HR support to the business, answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, policies, benefits, payroll, and employee relations issues.

  • Build efficiency to existing operations.

  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to execute a people strategy that includes talent development, performance management, engagement, employee satisfaction and culture.

  • Provide business leaders with strategies to promote effective team cohesiveness, positive employee morale, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws.

Needed Qualifications

  • 1+ years of HR business partner experience in a high growth and change oriented environment.

  • Experience ?in a start-up ?or technology environment.

  • Demonstrates curiosity of how to improve existing processes. ?

  • Embrace opportunities to grow and learn.

  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship building skills - High EQ.

  • Demonstrated competence in at least 3 core HR functional areas including: policy development, training, employee relations, management coaching, employee coaching, organizational development, organizational design, succession planning, and/or employment law.

  • Comfort with a non-traditional and innovative human resources culture.

  • Demonstrated ability to keep information confidential.

  • Commitment to producing high quality work.

  • Business and operations acumen when making decisions.

  • Service oriented mindset.
