We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission for this Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative position. On track earnings are anywhere from $48,000 to $70,000/yr, depending on qualifications and performance. You would also be eligible for a strong benefits package including incentives, medical, dental, life, a 401(k) plan, paid time off (PTO), a monthly auto allowance, an online sales training program to help ensure your success in the marketplace, and ongoing internal and field sales management support and guidance. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
As an Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative, you are at the front lines of revenue generation so that we can continue serving our customers and providing for our employees. You manage the full cycle of sales in your market area. You love interacting with people and establish a rapport easily. Your excellent communication skills are also an essential part of your success, as you spend a lot of time chatting with prospective clients in person, on the phone, and through email.
You are enthusiastic and self-motivated. You generate new leads through cold-call canvassing efforts, setting qualified appointments, and conducting face-to-face presentations. You have great people skills and establish a relationship easily. As you listen to their needs, you effectively explain how our advertising products and services can satisfy those needs. You skillfully overcome objections. Your mission is to win new accounts and drive our growth.
Though you love interacting with people, you are also organized and goal-oriented. Using your analytical side, you proactively forecast sales and carefully plan out your month, quarter, and year in order to regularly achieve individual and team goals. Using our internal sales database, you keep track of all sales activity. You are a key player in improving overall team sales productivity.
You also make sure to stay current on product offerings, company developments, and industry trends. To ensure continued client satisfaction, you retain and manage current and new client accounts. Seeing your efforts pay off in your paycheck gives you a great sense of accomplishment. And, you also feel good about playing an important role in the success of a respected market leader while helping other good businesses grow and succeed.

This is a full-time (35 hours) position. Our work week is Sunday - Saturday. We operate in-house on a Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule. Advertising reps can create their own schedule or follow the in-house schedule.
