The MS&T Senior Business Operations Associate reports to the Associate Director Business Operations for the Global MS&T organization. Core responsibilities of this role include resource management through the use of Planisware's eTime module, budget management and contracting support for Global MS&T outsourcing and small capital, contributing to strategic initiatives, and driving business operations excellence. This role partners closely with Finance Business Partner, IT Business Partner, and HR Business Partner and will engage with colleagues across Global MS&T organization.Position RequirementsResource Management
Manage eTime resource tracking system and establish consistent reporting across MS&T (working knowledge of Planisware eTime preferred) .
Partner with portfolio manager to establish consistent process and tools to improve resource demand and capacity planning across MS&T organization.
Working knowledge of data analytics to assess and report data.Budget Management
Accountability for facilitating the preparation and management of MS&T outsourcing and small capital budget, including contracting activities (working knowledge of SAP Ariba, XRPM preferred) .
Partnering with Finance Business Partner and MS&T stakeholders to ensure budget processes and targets are achieved.
Understand Project Management Tools to develop an integrated solution that ties budget processes to project portfolio.Qualifications
BA/BS in science, engineering, or business
A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in biopharmaceutical industry or its equivalent; 2 years with a M.S./MBA
- Working knowledge of business analytics tools and processes for effective analysis and reporting of data (e.g. Planisware eTime Module, SAP, Ariba Tableau, Spotfire, preferred).
- Experience in business process improvement, developing, implementing, and sustaining new processes/best practices.
- Ability to build relationships and drive organizational engagement across matrixed teams, functions, and sites.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
