The System Design Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of systems into new or existing security infrastructure, including Physical and Logical Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Networking Monitoring, Network Intrusion Systems, CCTV, and Perimeter Protections. This position involves all aspect of security design and requires individuals who are willing to validate designed solutions in a hands-on environment where engineers build and test the systems they design in a lab environment. Responsibilities include the following Technical leader with experience in supporting and maintaining mission critical systems. Creative problem solver with the ability to identify root causes and develop fast solutions to satisfy customer needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excels in customer focused environments. Oversee systems development and integration activities Train and mentor junior systems engineers and administrators Maintain and troubleshoot MS .NET applications Patch and maintain Windows Server and Windows Workstation systems Query and maintain relational databases Monitor and implement regular testing of system backups Specific Requirements include Applications - AMAG Symmetry, Software House CCURE, Bosch VMS, PSIMProximex Surveillint, MS SQL Server Application Protocols - HTTP, REST, SOAP, MSMQ System Management - Windows Server, AD Group Policy, Powershell Remoting, SNMP, VMWare vSphere Networking - TCPIP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, VLANs Networking and Application Security - SSLTLS, Certificate Management Experience with Electronic Security (ACS, IDS, CCTV) and Identity Management Systems Applicants must have a current TS Security Clearance.
