RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret & explain plans and contract terms. Coordinate logistics, testing and inspections. Implement safety program and assist with weekly meetings. Generate, track and apply changes ensuring consistency across, plans, specs and submittals. Update project schedule. Assist with change management documentation and implementation (issue letters, PCO, COR, PCCO, RFIs). Provide quantity take offs and updates for weekly Labor Distribution Reports. Track manpower, equipment and supplies compared to budget. Monitor subcontractor performance for consistent quality.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or related field, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited university. Applicable internships or field experience preferred. Solid computer skills with working knowledge of AutoCAD, Construction Management Software as well as MS Office, including Outlook, Project, Excel and Word. Reads, understands and interprets construction plans, schematics, blueprints, drawings and technical manuals to determine appropriate construction methods. Use surveying equipment to perform survey and field layout.
