SUMMARY: The role of Laboratory Technician Intern is a developmental role within the Inspectorate America Corporation Laboratory. The selected candidate will work 15-29 hours per week. The assignment length may vary and is at the discretion of the Laboratory Manager. While no guarantee of employment after graduation is made, the Company views the program as a benefit to the intern (experience) and to the Company (potential candidates).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES POST TRAINING: Include, but are not limited to the following:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Chemistry or related major, junior or above.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, as well as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to do mathematics related to laboratory methodology calculations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to legally work in the United States
