The Stores Workload Planning Analyst will create and implement new communication strategy initiatives and support the needs of multiple business partners. As the gatekeeper for the primary communications tool, the Planning Analyst, will supports long-term and short-term communication strategies and oversees the successful execution. Oversee / drive compliance in the usage of the communication tool, create and distribute analytics reporting that drives store/field/corporate workload planning compliance.
This position requires excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with a broad range of individuals within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates with District, Regional and Territory teams on a weekly basis to provide guidance on current performance to assist with opportunity stores/districts/regions and provides coaching tools to help improve task completion with the communication tool
Acts as a subject matter expert for our field and corporate partners and proactively seek out/ monitors effectiveness of in-store, field and corporate workload planning and project execution.
Reporting & Project Development:
Create and distribute analytics that drives store/field/corporate workload planning compliance
Serve as a primary Gatekeeper for all store project/communication releases
Independently ensure all projects released meet established standards and align with project planning schedule / communication standards / current and approved schedules
Ensure inadequate communications are updated by the business owner as needed to support continued efficiencieS
Develop, evolve and maintain store workload planning solutions through the task management system
Effectively support workload planning standards by assessing each submission
Addressing timing of store projects and impact to overall operating efficiencies
Develop/Maintain recurring project communications with business partners; train/influence cross functional areas to independently submit projects to meet streamlined/workload standards
Planning & Communications Standards:
Assess each submission, ensuring completeness/accuracy following current standards - independently work with business partners as needed for complete workload assessment. Implement alternative solutions when workload exceeds capacity
Challenge the effectiveness of proposed tasks, including the communication methodology, supporting documentation and execution plan by communicating with business partners and supervisor
Create store tasks/communications as required to support internal and/or cross functional business objectives as needed
Supports the Store Workload Planning annual/quarterly/monthly governance cycle
Streamline committee actions during the meeting as well as senior level committee recaps
Follow-up assessments requiring physical review/approval should be exception based
Our candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in related discipline with 2-4 years experience designing and implementing planning and communication standards, along with 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the communications field, preferably Store Communications.
