Program Manager, Assistant Vice President

Support Global Financial Crimes Central Program Management Office (CPMO) and its management in providing independent project/program oversight by keeping apprised of project status through constant dialogue with project managers, receiving all relevant project information, keeping constant contact and coordination. Provide proper analysis to ensure program/project is on track and working towards completion, identifying appropriate risks and issues that may impede the progress of the project. Create and maintain relationships with key project, business and technology partners, working to communicate any key objectives or observations and supporting the overall communication and coordination with CPMO. You will support the preparation and presentation of executive committee materials, to ensure project objectives and commitments are met in a timely manner.
Project Governance and Oversight
Provide support in building out of CPMO function, including governance structures, meeting routines, presentation materials, etc.
Support Relationship Manager(s) of project(s) to review and refine project scope considering regulator/management priority and feedback to ensure project efficiency and transparency
Provide analysis on projects to identify any interdependencies between other projects, any duplication, and potential efficiencies in plan
Work with management to provide strong oversight and guidance on project governance and reporting standard to each project team
Identify appropriate project risks and issues, advancing to management appropriately
Oversee budget and resource plan development for each project and across projects
Committee Reporting and Support
Support the coordination and preparation of materials for periodic reporting to all governance committees and executive management including the President, Deputy Presidents, Regional Executive for the Americas, US CEO and other Executive members
Maintain and update Risks & Issues, Communication Logs and other supporting documents as requested
Ensure minutes for meetings are well documented
Support CPMO reporting as required for management
Internal/External Relationships
Develop relationships with all internal and external project and program stakeholders in order to drive successful and efficient project completion
Support and enhance the communication and coordination between CPMO and related project teams, SMEs and business line
Help to support the management of regulatory relationships by ensuring regulatory commitments are clearly identified, handled and followed up on.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification. Masters preferred
Strong knowledge and discipline of program and project management methodologies.
Knowledge and experience in setting, managing and evaluating controls
Compliance knowledge, especially in financial crimes is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
3 - 5 + years demonstrated experience in financial services working in a project management capacity.
Evident success managing projects to completion in an efficient and effective manner
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Proven track record in collaborating with staff across different organizational functions and driving consensus
Detailed oriented and well organized.
Proactive approach to tasks, ability to work on tasks independently and also take direction from management.
Positive can-do attitude.
