The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for providing financial and administrative skill set in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. Scope: The Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing and entering invoices and expenditures. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner ensuring finances are accurate and up to date, and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits. Responsibilities: Maintain accounts payable files to include filing invoices in designated areas and updating vendor information on computer. Match inventory purchase orders with vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and prepare for computer entry on a daily basis [3-way matching] Prepare accounts payable checks according to company procedures. Mail accounts payable checks with appropriate supporting documentation. Print accounts payable reports. Set up wire payments to international vendors via online banking site Monitor paperwork, invoices, credits & payments Research and respond to accounts payable inquiries in a prompt manner. Analyze & review general ledger expense accounts Perform other related duties as assigned Month end close analysis and General Ledger review Skills: 3 years accounts payable experience required Analytical and problem solving skills Decision making skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Very effective organizational skills Must be able to multi-task Stress management skills Time management/planning Oral/written communication skills Computer Literacy (skills in MS Excel/Outlook a must) Interpersonal Skills Customer Relations/Customer Service Professionalism Math Aptitude Microsoft Excel Education: 2 year college degree preferred Experience: Prior accounts payable experience required
