In this position individuals will serve as a Scientific team member for the Immunoassay department. This position requires expertise in all aspects of the skills necessary to satisfy the overall responsibilities of the scientific and operational conduct of pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity methods development, validation, and sample analysis. The position is largely focused upon leveraging the individual's scientific strength, hands on expertise and experience. The position may also involve mentoring junior staff. The following are minimum qualifications related to the Scientist 2 position: Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline. Related Master's degree (M.S./M.A.) or Ph.D/D.V.M. preferred.Experience: Five to seven years previous directly related laboratory experience in immunoanalytical experimental design and execution, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and result presentation.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.Certification/Licensure: None.Other: Exceptional analytical and problem solving capabilities. Full understanding of regulatory requirements of study types assigned, as well as Testing Facility SOPs and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), as appropriate. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environment. Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines under minimal direction. Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations.
