Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Draft and edit legal documents and correspondence; conduct preliminary review of basic contracts and governance documents;Conduct legal research on a variety of legal and compliance topics and prepare memoranda for attorneys?? review;Research best practice developments and specific legal matters as they arise;Compile, update, and maintain corporate legal and compliance documents, contracts and other related files and database;Assist with the review and process of legal invoices; coordinate expense reimbursements;Receive and respond to a variety of communications from internal clients and external parties; conduct research on relevant issues and provide preliminary legal analysis to the in-house attorneys;Provide other assistance and support to the in-house attorneys such as coordinating calendars and conferences, organizing legal records and files, tracking short and long-term tasks, flagging legal issues as appropriate;Perform other related job duties as assigned.Qualifications:Require at least Bachelor??s Degree in Law; Master??s preferred.Practical experience in a law firm or corporate legal department setting is preferred. Must possess basic understanding of various legal and business topics, procedures, and requirements; solid analytical skills, excellent writing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese highly preferred.Strong work ethic, with ability to work independently as needed. Excellent oral and written communication skills.High standards and organizational capabilities.Sound judgment with the ability to recognize legal risk and a healthy appreciation for discretion.Creative, flexible, enthusiastic and innovative team player.
