Role/Position Overview:The Lead Software Development Manager role covers all aspects of an enterprise platform component ownership - technology leadership, program delivery and stability management, talent development, cross-organization partnership. The incumbent will help direct and participate in the day-to-day operations of a team of software developers, business analysts, QA and will lead by example to insure business and product objectives are met will providing administrative, technical and people leadership for multiple, diverse and sometimes geographically distributed teams. The Lead Software Development Manager is expected to develop code to meet business and technical requirements as well as providing coaching and guidance to the team to enable future success.Responsibilities: Oversee the platform, day to day requests, long term projects, and strategy of the group Work closely with project/program management as well as managers of related applications Continually help to improve the performance of the team in regards to SDLC, QA, and deployment practices Act as an expert on the platform in various capacities, strategy meetings, and product development opportunities Recommends most efficient way to produce new products Evaluates and reports on the progress and results of development efforts Serves as focal point for other departments on development status Ensures projects are completed according to product specifications and are properly documented Ensure system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods Product architecture and implementation is maintainable and extendible to accommodate future development and maintenance Capture Build and Deployment notes; develop Software Product Deployment and Operating Instructions Coordinate with other Lead Software Development Engineers to create and deliver on an application release plan Assesses and identifies mitigation for risks, including those related to high level design, integration, and data quality Present risks and risk mitigations to application stakeholders Create, submit and distribute all documentation needed for the change management process Qualifications Experience: 12+ years of software development experience Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java EE, Spring, Kotlin, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, Angular.js, Mongo DB, SQL Solid experience with Oracle, Unix, Windows, CVS, and GIT Strong analytical skills Ability to work in virtual teams and matrixes organizations Excellent team worker with great verbal and written communication skills Experience developing software in both an agile and waterfall environment Passion about sharing knowledge and best practices Financial markets experiencepreferred 19016855Salary Range: NAMinimum Qualification11 - 15 years
