Business Information Security Officer, for Capital Markets Operations

C13 - Delaware / Tampa

A fantastic opportunity has arisen as a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) within the Global Information Security (GIS) Team.Your role will be to help the business improve its Information Security posture with respect to delivering products and services to both clients and consumers. You will be responsible for performing risk and control and compliance assessments by understanding the key assets and processes, identifying the risks and controls, evaluating the residual risk and suggesting incremental controls, where necessary.

Your role as BISO is to engage regularly with the business units that you have oversight for, acting in a consultative way to ensure adherence to security policies and standards are incorporated into processes and procedures.The Business will look to their BISO for guidance in all matters pertaining to Information Security, so it is vital to have excellent communication skills and can listen and provide workable solutions.

Information Security is a primary area of focus for Citi. This key position reports to Global Information Security Officer (GISO). This team as a whole currently support ICG Capital Markets Operations / Control and Reporting / ISG Operations Team and KYC/AML in both NAM and EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide a single point of contact on Information Security, and Vendor Management for one or more Capital Markets Operations business teams
* Contribute to, interpret and disseminate IS policy, standards and awareness throughout the business teams
* Implement the Information Security Policy and Standards across business team(s) overseeing and supporting the completion of regular Business team IS requirements, including

oEnsuring that appropriate visibility of non-compliance issues are raised through the corporate issues and risk processes

oReviewing Business processes and products to ensuring new products/services, applications, new third party or client relationship, etc. has appropriate security controls embedded and that the risks are appropriately addressed

oEntitlement Reviews (Systematic and Manual)

oThird Party Security Assessments

oInformation Security Risk Assessments.

oSIRT - Security Incident Response

oTraining and Awareness

oAssist business in managing and preventing future incidents and providing incident coordinator services as needed

* Engage with the Business Seniors to identify IS risks and ensure that they are understood, and appropriate controls are built to support the Business in meeting its objectives without compromising on risk.
* Work with Technology partners on writing up and reviewing Risk Exceptions and Corrective Action Plans
* Prepare various regular and ad hoc IS MIS reporting for Senior Management
* Provide escalation path for information security issues, incidents and enquiries
* Engage with clients and customers as needed to assist business achieve its objectives with pre and post sales activities (e.g. explain our security program, support external audits, support Vendor on boarding and Cloud process, etc.)

Job Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of experience in Information Security
* Experience in the banking industry
