Commercial Lending Management (“CLM”) manages the end to end commercial lending process for clients of the US CCB.Key responsibilities include loan underwriting, credit and financial due diligence, portfolio management, loan structuring and documentation, and credit delivery and servicing. CLM manages approximately $20 billion in credit exposure across 2,000+ credit relationships.
Commercial Industries & Regional Credit (“CIRC”) is a unit within CLM that supports select clients in the Global & National Industries, Mid-Corporate and Emerging Corporate client segments.The CIRC loan portfolio totals $16.5 billion and spans 450+ US CCB relationships across six industry verticals and one specialty finance unit:(1) Energy, (2) Technology, (3) Industrials, (4) Consumer, (5) Agriculture, (6) Healthcare, and (7) Asset Based Lending.The portfolio includes secured and unsecured revolving lines of credit and term loans, syndicated loans, leveraged loans, cross border loans approved locally and extended overseas thru the CCB’s global network of 30 countries, commercial cards, cash management lines, and derivative liens of credit.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professionalto lead CIRC’s Commercial Lending Administration team (“CLA”). CLA supports CIRC Credit Specialists in the pre-approval administration of the CCB’s end-to-end credit delivery process within CitiRisk Commercial, the CCB’s primary platform.The primary activities of the team include the creation of facilities, collateral and financial support, and the tracking of covenant compliance.
The individual will be responsible for building and managing a team of (6) Commercial Lending Administrators.The position reports directly to the Head of US CLM CIRC Head and is based in Irving, TX.
•Build and maintain facilities within CitiRisk Commercial for all new to bank and material credit transactions, including collateral and financial support;
•Build and maintain a financial and reporting covenant compliance tickler within CitiRisk Commercial;
•Ensure the integrity of all facility related data elements deemed critical to CIRC;
•Engage with Loan Operations and CRMS to reconcile date sources from AFS, Facility Management and Optima are reconciled
•Provide technical and consultancy support to staff, CIRC Credit Specialists and CIRC Team Leaders for all matters related to CitiRisk Commercial;
•Develop effective data management communications for internal and external constituents;
•Anticipate and remediate potential systems issues that may create data integrity issues;
•Engage with Loan Operations and CRMS team to ensure that transactions are booked appropriately and systems are updated properly;
•Build and own a quality assurance process to ensure the data owned by CIRC is accurate at approval and is maintained for term of the relationship;
•Builds and maintains strong and effective relationships with cross functional teams cross-functional teams consisting of loan product sales, relationship management, CLM, operations, IT, and compliance to ensure data quality
·Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, communications, or equivalent work experience preferred;
·Seasoned people manager with 5 years’ experience in a team environment;
·Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and listening) in both Spanish and English required and strong organizational skills;
•Expresses ideas in a confident, organized and articulate manner and demonstrates advanced influence skills by presenting compelling arguments;
•Prior experience working with databases and/or data a must;
•Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft Excel a must;
•Background in application development or programming a plus;
•Strong analytical skills and process oriented;
•Results oriented, strategic and bold;
•Ability to successfully deliver on multiple priorities with high quality deliverables
·Self-starter with unlimited motivation to contribute to the broader team goals;
•Reaches decisions in a timely and transparent manner, knows when enough information has been collected to make sound decisions, takes calculated risks;
