Job Description Summary

Responsible for developing an increased awareness in and adoption of targeted energy efficient technologies, strategic market development, customer satisfaction, as well as delivering on client goals related to outreach activity and energy savings. Adhering to designated program budgets and allocated resources. Trade Allies include manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and retailers of residential and commercial energy and water efficiency products, such as HVAC, Water Heating, Lighting, and other electric and natural gas saving equipment.

The Massachusetts and Rhode Island Upstream Lighting Initiative provides financial incentives to Massachusetts and Rhode Island lighting distributors for sales of qualifying energy efficient lighting products. By providing incentives to the distributor the incentives are paid at the wholesale level, allowing the cost differential of energy-efficient products to be reduced or eliminated before they are sold to contractors or end-users. Job Description

Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years customer service experience with a focus on program/ project management support and database processing and reporting experience
  • 1-3 years experience with Commercial Distribution Sales Channels and/ or Commercial Lighting Products preferred
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, educate and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.
  • Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base.
  • Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction.
  • Perform event planning, coordination and presentations of programs.
  • Work to serve as a liaison between customers and contractors to enhance program satisfaction.
  • Work in cooperation with other energy efficiency programs to move projects forward and follow-up on leads.
  • Researchs the markets; accumulating data on businesses and identifying the key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.
  • Build a base of registered Trade Allies specific to the specified programs.
  • Conduct data analysis and oversee Quality Assurance (QA)/ Quality Control (QC) procedures.
  • Identify improvement barriers and critical information to the Program Manager.
  • Provide cross functional program support, including supporting Program Manager as required.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of operations.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports and track progress towards program goals.
  • Represent CLEAResult and utility client(s) in the highest professional standards possible.
  • Preforms other duties as assigned.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be self-directed.
  • Travel is required.
  • Skills/ Abilities:

  • MS Office Intermediate level (specially MS Excel)
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Customer service skills
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proven presentation skills
  • Ability to form and effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
