Job Summary As the Resident SVP of Operations, you will be the relationship link for Restaurant Associates, our premier client and team members. In this Senior Leadership role, you'll lead the business strategy, and be responsible for organizing, collaborating, and influencing with cross function teams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of accomplishments, able to quickly gain credibility, understand that the culture is value driven, possess demonstrated leadership experience in evaluating solution opportunities that further the strategic growth, financial and hospitality objectives. Summary/Essential Functions: Monitors and strategize to reach annual targets and new market solutions. Directs and manages the cross-functional teams. Oversees financial objective & analysis, and monitor for profitability and losses. Successfully builds relationships at all levels of the team, client, customer and Restaurant Associates/Compass organizations. Identifies client's needs, communicates account progress and new company programs to client. Conducts and/or monitors customer, client and associate satisfaction surveys. Delivers the corporate communications and priorities to both the region team members and clients. Builds an effective, engaged, results achieving team Develops and monitors realistic and accurate budget and forecasts. Ensures that the business is meeting financial performance and client forecasts; optimizes financial performance and operational productivity. Ensures that Operations Leadership Team members are performing their responsibilities effectively and takes pro-active results action as needed. Ensures that audits are conducted at all facilities including but not limited to: Financial and Contractual; Sanitation and Food Safety; Human Resources Supports recruitment and training efforts; Develops and coaches management associates to meet staffing needs and talent management programs, as well as to ensure optimum utilization of region associates, while reducing turnover while not sacrificing quality. Partners with labor Relations and supports coordination of union contract negotiations; stays current and abides by all parts of collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact. Qualifications: B.S. Degree, Master degree preferred 10+ years of progressive food service management experience, 5+ years experience in a multi-unit setting preferred. Multi-unit restaurant or hotel experience a must Self-motivated, adaptable, flexible and possess desire to learn and passion to succeed. Positive attitude while working effectively and efficiently with high quality assurance and success measurements. Ability to perform in an ever changing, sometimes ambiguous environment.
