This position is in Tarrytown, New York. The Clinical Bioanalysis group is seeking a rising college junior or senior to provide bioanalytical support, in a highly regulated environment, for ongoing clinical studies.

The position would report to an experienced member of the team, and responsibilites would include:

Preparing reagents and buffer solutions, as needed

Training on bioanalytical methods (both manual and automated) under direct supervision

Executing bioanalytical methods to perform bioanalysis for clinical studies under direct supervision

Interpreting data in order to assess plate acceptance criteria and assay performance

Executing basic operations in LIMS (building analysis plates, tracking sample movement and data entry), ELN (real-time documentation) and SoftMax (data analysis)

Ensuring compliance for all laboratory work and documentation in accordance with regulations, company SOPs and internal processes and procedures

Communicating effectively with analysts, supervisor, and Laboratory Manager

Adherence to proper safety requirements and guidelines

Must be a Bachelors student

Must be pursuing a degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Immunology, etc.

Basic laboratory and documentation skills, pipetting, immunoassay (ELISA), immunology, computer skills

General Intern Program Information:

Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

Minimum GPA of 3.0

You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

Housing stipend available for those students who meet mileage requirements
