We are seeking a dynamic business executive to lead Contiki USA Marketing and Sales Teams, the US-based office of a global travel company, delivering industry-leading, immersive experiences in over 70 countries on six continents to 18-35 year olds. Contikis US-based business model is primarily B2C but with little consumer brand awareness today. Our goal is to double the current, relatively small size of the US-based bookings over the next three years, with a well thought out, well executed and achievable set of business strategies.
The successful candidate will have an extensive consumer marketing and digital marketing background with a proven ability to drive consumer engagement and sales.This role will have a strong youth marketing focus and requires an expertise connecting with both millennial and Gen-Z audiences.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced marketing-focused leader who is hungry to take a fledgling, cool travel brand and substantially grow its presence and business in key targeted cities in the US. We need somebody who has the passion and zeal to drive the priorities forward. The role requires a balance of strong management experience with expertise in youth focused marketing, both traditional and digital channels.
The Executive VP Marketing and Sales will be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the US team, reporting through to Contikis CEO, who is based in Europe, with a close working relationship with TTCs Chief Executive, who is based in LA and oversees the US market for TTC as well.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will lead the overall combined marketing & sales activity to ensure total alignment and optimization of our overall budget and team efforts
