This is a global role designed to be the Change Portfolio Manager for the Global Markets Technology (GMT) COO organization and will be based in New York or Raleigh. Responsible for all aspects of leading change initiatives, including portfolio financials, and ensuring adoption of PM 'toolsets' and best practices are established consistently across GM Technology.. The individual should have the ability to understand the Global Markets business content and drivers and provide leadership in the Portfolio Management area.. Main duties and responsibilities:. Drive adoption of PM 'toolsets' and best practices across GM Techcnology. Ensure high quality and consistent project tracking and status reporting. Portfolio Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting within GMT in conjunction with GM Finance as well as from other suppliers across technology teams. Full Portfolio Financial management, including representing GMT in various central processes (e.g. IT CtB Recon, RtB / Opex, etc). Produce monthly (and ad hoc) reporting packs for business partners - Portfolio Control and Reporting; creating, maintaining and reporting initiatives, programs and projects via a portfolio view. Partner with central PPM team and effectively coordinate and manage 'the portfolio' across RTB and CTB spend. Portfolio allocations to the business and ensure time-booking compliance. Ownership for and facilitation of the reprioritization process. Act as deputy to the GMT Portfolio Management lead as required. Proven track record of leading and driving a culture of change and continuous improvement. A solid understanding of securities products and market trends. Control mindset with understanding of risks inherent in processes and how to mitigate them.. Understand regulatory landscape within which the role operates. Quantitative and analytical. Agile mindset, comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Desire to drive change at the most senior level in the Bank, with a balance of urgency and political acumen. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communications skills, confidence and ability to work with executive management. Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion in confidential matters. Well rounded (preferably) former management consultant, who has strategy, change management, and data analytics experience, and is comfortable getting hands-on to deliver impact, while also thinking about the big picture. Presentation skills- ability to tell a compelling story based on quantitative and qualitative data to an executive audience. Fluent in English. Knowledge of the Bank's program and project processes and standards are desirable, and an understanding of Credit Suisse strategy, competitive positioning and the broader financial services landscape.
