The Manager of Business Analytics and Reporting will work collaboratively with cross-functional team members and manage a team that builds data-driven reporting, dashboards, tools and solutions that helps the business succeed. These tools and solutions should lead to business insight and enhance operational and customer analytics, leading to increased revenue and greater efficiencies.
Essential Job Functions Lead the effort to transform reporting and data capabilities within the Area organization to enable data-driven decisions with high-level analytics Work cross-functionally with business partners and IT to aggregate and analyze data and develop metrics that matter to support initiatives across the organization Drive the team to adhere to sound data-governance and forward-looking data visualization Create and maintain dynamic dashboards that drive insight into the business and work with the business to interpret results Create queries that enable live links from data sources to dashboards and reports Examine, interpret and present results of analytical projects to business partners Drive the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of new strategic ideas Develop and implement a Business Analytics strategy and approach that is scalable and supports organizational objectives, promotes business innovation, and enables economic thinking Play a key role in building the foundation of predictive analytics capabilities within the organization Train and coach others on the use and interpretation of metrics and analytics and develop this capability and mindset throughout the organization. Work with IT to support data integrity and security Potentially manage Financial Analyst(s) including hiring, coaching, terminations, performance reviews, rewards determination, training/development and scheduling
Education/Certifications BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering, Information Management or Statistics or similar discipline with analytical bias or extensive work experience in the field Master's Degree in Data Science or Advanced Analytics preferred
