Job Description As an Operations supervisor, the position will be responsible for maintaining an up to date drug file in the pharmacy system, as well as managing returns and recalls. The Operations supervisor will devote approximately 50-75% of their time to inventory related responsibilities, and approximately 25-50% of their time will be devoted to operational functions in support of patient care. Supervise the warehouse team through assigning, directing and following up of all activities Inventory Purchasing: Responsible for coordinating with appropriate team members for ordering. Places all orders for drugs and supply inventory. Independently reviews par levels and helps to maintain a perpetual inventory in the computer system. Manages drug returns, cycle counts, expired med quarantine and recalls, engaging with fulfillment team members as needed to ensure compliance. Audits hazardous waste bins weekly and ensures procedures are being followed according to CVS policy. Responsible for receiving inventory, verifying amount ordered and shipped and stocking shelves. Responsible for ensuring all pricing is accurately maintained in the system and that all products are entered correctly. Integral role in planning, attending and following up on all physical inventories. Will manage successful completion of monthly counts of high value drug inventory (cycle counts) and update counts accordingly in perpetual inventory system. Operational Support: Perform operational functions to support other teams as dictated by daily workflow needs. Contact patients to reschedule deliveries when necessary due to inventoryrelated issues. Asset Tracking-maintain pump inventory and ensure proper maintenance and tracking. Required Qualifications Have excellent organizational skills Be effective in communication (verbal and written) Be familiar with and eager to further learn Excel functions to support PIC, finance and accreditation reporting. Be flexible to help with other teams as needed Be available to work from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri and occasionally additional hours to support inventory maintenance. Preferred Qualifications -Experience with SAP or another inventory operating system -Certified Pharmacy Technician -Supervisory experience Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
