POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an employee that is action-oriented and enjoys working hard! Someone that is willing to jump in and problem-solve while looking beyond the obvious. This person will serve as the primary contact and subject-matter expert for Sales Operations as well as the pricing / quote / contract point of escalation for National Account Sales. Will work with Sales to structure quotes and proposals that optimize margins and expedite close for large enterprise customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for maintaining an in-depth and broad knowledge of DealerSocket solutions specifically used for global SKU and pricing management.
  • Serve as the Team Lead on SKU / asset management in CPQ tool.
  • Ensure efficient execution of complex deals through standard flow process on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinate addenda provide applicable approvals.

  • Provide internal contract-related issue resolution.
  • Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or resigns.
  • Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of approvals and pertinent information concerning exception.
  • Manage and train a team of 5 Sales Coordinators.
  • Lead Sales Operations collaboration efforts with Legal and Product.
  • Coordinate contract / addenda needs for Sales Operations team.
  • Manage Deal Desk; serve as point of contact and subject matter expert on deal constructs, special pricing, operations, and revenue policies for addressing obstacles to deal closure and other sales escalations.
  • Guide and coach Sales teams in the most efficient, best-practice processes to expedite deal approvals, while protecting DealerSocket s best interests.
  • Coordinate efforts for Pentana project.
  • Adhere to a same-day response commitment and have the flexibility to maintain inconsistent workflows (peak times vary by time of day and by time of month).
  • Ensure timely follow up / resolution of outstanding issues and set service standards that can be relied upon.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas to develop team process and document best practices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Possess a high degree of initiative, organization and drive.
  • Ability to remain flexible, self-teach and operate with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong and quick learner, ability to understand both technical and business needs.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills a must.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Robust skills in Salesforce.com, CPQ and Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CongaGrid & Tableau or Einstein (desired, not required).
  • Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years relevant experience and/or combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract administration and/or sales operations / sales management.
  • 3+ years of product and pricing experience.
  • Experience working with Sales or Sales Operations teams to implement process improvements.
  • Bachelor s Degree required.
  • MBA desired.
