The Opportunity Primary Job The Database Specialist is responsible for providing analytical and programming support to assess and monitor performance of marketing programs. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain strict confidential guidelines to marketing database administration, material, including player data Adhere to the marketing plan set forth by the Sr. Director of Marketing or above, by assisting the Marketing Manager or above in developing a database plan to provide the staff with necessary information to achieve successful results. Assist Management with creating and maintaining a comprehensive database of all MGT promotions, events and virtual drawings Strong understanding of PL, pro and post formats and checkbook accounting. With the Marketing Manager will analyze post formats and review analytics and adjust casino promotions and campaigns as necessary. With the Marketing Manager will oversee the accuracy of department player data. Create analysis and review data to ensure the marketing strategy and business plan is being followed according to set guidelines and expectations. Report and analyze redemptions, membership enrollments, tracked play, ADT, time played, action, and any other information requested. Assist in developing database-marketing strategy through the analysis of player tracking information. Creates a variety of statistical and analytical reports, tables and graphical analyses of performance data, trend analyses and other exploratory analyses. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of program lists, reporting, and other assigned project deliverables. Assists in the creation and maintenance of departmental guidelines and standards as it pertains to the database. Analyze player tracking system data under guidance of Marketing Manager to determine trends and promotional impact. Assist with creation, implementation and compliance of direct mail (customer relationship marketing) program. Work within GE and across Delaware North subsidiaries for opportunities to collaborate on marketing initiatives Serve as liaison between company and player tracking vendor in regards to system issues. Communicate all issues to Marketing Manager or above. Understand the goals and vision of the organization, and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance. Maintain strict confidential guidelines in all guest interactions and records. Accountable to understand and comply with all regulatory guidelines, submissions, policies and procedures. Role model company guest service program Understand the goals and vision of the organization Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor-s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field from a four-year college or university. Minimum of three (3) years- experience in database casino marketing supervisory position required. Experience in casino marketing systems preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance. Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License Other Frequent exposure to, and utilization of, computer Prolonged sitting at workstation Gaming environment-noise level may be moderate to high Weekends, Holidays and swing shifts may be required.
