Manager, Partner Matters (LDS - Learning, Development and Succession)

Work you'll do

As a Manager on the Partner Matters Leadership development and succession team, you will work on internal initiatives regarding the partner/principal/managing director (PPMD) leadership development life-cycle. This includes oversight and execution of hi-potential (hi-po) leadership development for PPMDs across all businesses.

This position regularly interacts with senior leadership and supports strategic initiatives/projects related to PPMDs, such as NextGen, LeadershipEdge and enterprise-leader analysis and reporting for the Board of Directors.

Job Responsibilities - Manager (LDS)

* Collaborate with the businesses/channels in designing and executing leadership development and succession processes.


* Prepare succession pool modeling (in-depth analysis) including observations and potential recommendations; as requested by the ELSC and/or US CEO


* Drive the preparation of presentation materials and analysis for Leadership meetings; review presentation materials and analysis; analyze and interpret results for Leadership.


* Conduct numerous on-site leadership development experiences for our PPMDs.


* Lead the production and distribution of materials to support all leadership development experiences.


* Contribute to Elevate processes as part of Performance Management lifecycle; coordinate partner synopses and Career Development Advisor/Partner webcasts.


* Review and respond to requests for confidential partner data and analysis, including partner votes for the Board of Directors.


* Support strategic initiatives/projects related to PPMDs



Qualifications:

* Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive deliverables; ability to effectively communicate to manage expectations
* Consultative approach toward clients
* Strong strategic-thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
* Excellent project management skills. Ability to anticipate challenges and develop contingency plans accordingly.
* Sound leadership skills (self-starter, results driven, etc.)
* Ability to influence others, build strong relationships and networks
* Analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Technical skills in Excel, Tableau, Access, PowerPoint
* Excel - effectively write and validate formulas and calculations, create tables and graphs, link information, create pivot tables, manage multiple sources of data, and ensure data accuracy


* PowerPoint - effectively communicate in presentation format, create/import tables, graphs, and other objects, and aesthetic format





Education & Experience

* Bachelor's degree (preferred)


* Minimum of 8 years of related; preferably in HR or technical business unit
