DGA systems can meet any specified code or insurance company requirement. DGA also services and monitors existing systems not installed by DGA.

Responsibilities

DGA Security Systems is currently looking for a Tester/Inspector who can conduct visual inspection for wear and tear on all fire alarm devices to include fire alarm control panel, batteries, data gathering panel (DGPs), notification appliances, initiating devices, and remote annunciators. Conduct test and response on all applicable fire alarm devices, conduct mechanical testing on all applicable fire alarm devices.

Qualifications

* Trade School Certification and/or High School Diploma or Equivalent? 0-1 year relevant technical work experience? Knowledge of fire alarm products, EST products desired? Proper use of hand tools (meter, toner, etc.)? Understanding of basic electronics theories and principles (Ohm's Law, AC/DC, etc.)? Ability to demonstrate the safe use of ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and related equipment required? Acceptable report writing procedures? Good verbal and written communication skills? Understanding of all company policies and procedures? Certificate of Fitness for Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, Testing and Service Technician (S-98) a plus
