Disney Advertising Sales drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio - including ABC, ESPN, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, and more.

The Ad Solutions team is responsible for managing, enabling and optimizing a market-leading portfolio of ad solutions for the Disney Advertising Sales team. We are a group of creative problem-solvers and collaborators, who aren't afraid of the unknown. We love to learn, and we ask smart questions in order to devise viable, revenue-driving solutions in this fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Senior Manager, Ad Solutions will play a key role in supporting the growth of Disney advertising revenue across brands and platforms. This individual will be the day-to-day Ad Sales contact for the Affiliate Sales and Marketing (ASM) team. In this capacity, this person will be responsible for communication to and advocacy for Ad Sales, with the primary goal of ensuring that 3rd party distribution partnerships and digital product evolution maximize ad revenue potential across the portfolio. The individual will report to the Senior Director, Ad Solutions.

Basic Qualifications

* 8+ years in media, with experience in ad sales; distribution or account management preferred
* Track record of collaboration, consensus-building and project management across functional areas and levels of seniority
* Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging media and technology
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter with curiosity, creativity and resourcefulness
* Solution-oriented, with ability to craft a concise recommendation based on analysis and input from stakeholders

Responsibilities

* Manage Ad Sales day-to-day relationship with ASM
* Advocate for Sales needs / priorities
* Proactively gather and share Ad Sales information and insights with ASM account teams to support relationships and negotiations with distributors
* Act as key resource for relevant ad hoc questions from ASM and Sales
* Identify and prioritize new opportunities to benefit portfolio ad revenue
* Share Ad Sales initiatives with partners to understand any effect on distribution
* Vet partner plans for potential Ad Sales opportunities or implications; evaluate, communicate and find solutions
* Ensure inclusion of POV from Sales Planning, Sales Ops and Client/Brand Solutions when new product plans or distribution changes are being contemplated
* Communicate key distributor developments to Sales team (e.g., deal points, revenue implications of changes, product roadmaps, growth)
* Oversee the development of ad sales collateral for new ad sales products and capabilities
* Maintain knowledge of marketplace and Disney distribution, ad experience and ad products
* Strong, up-to-date command of the breadth and depth of 3rd party platform capabilities across Disney brands
* Oversee tracking of current distribution status for Disney and regularly share with Sales colleagues, leadership and partners across the organization
