Our products range from scarfs and wraps, cold weather mufflers, hats and gloves, swimwear, beach cover-ups, and fabric handbags to a full line of licensed home products including bedding, bath, window, fabrics, rugs, wallpaper, and dinnerware.ROLE: SALES PLANNER ASSISTANT, BRANDED SALESREPORTS TO: Account ExecutivePOSITION OVERVIEW:The Sales Planner Assistant, Branded Sales will assist our team with sales planning and preparation, analysis, and account management. The individual will be exposed to various aspects of customer- facing activities with a career path to an Account Executive. The individual will report to the Account Manager of Branded Sales and will work closely on a day-to-day basis supporting Branded Sales Executives.PRINCIPALRELATIONSHIPSThe Sales Planner Assistant will work closely with internal partners on the Account Management team. They will also interact with the Planning Manager, Customer Service, Product Development and Marketing. EXAMPLE OF WEEKLY TASKS:SALES ANALYSISAssist Planning Manager with retail sales summaries and analysis across all brands and categories, detailing best and worst sellers through style recaps.Assist in seasonal sales planning activities, including department store selling analysis from classification to door reports.Assist in preparation of showroom for market and sales meetings.Complete line sheets, fill in .com copy During market week input and check ordersACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORTSupport Account Executives through various administrative and support responsibilities to establish and achieve sales goals. Develop intimate knowledge of branded product.Manage sample line 3 coordination to department stores and external representatives; Liaise with Merchandising Assistant.Coordinate regional show set ups including samples, travel, budget, and invoicing.Participate in selling at trade shows or in the NY Showroom with Department & Specialty stores.SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:Strong presentation and communication skillsOutstanding Advanced Excel skills, including V look up and pivot tablesAble to run reports, analyze data, draw conclusions, ease with numbers and analysisKnowledgeable in PowerPoint and Microsoft officeStrong time management skillsShould have a passion for accessories and interest in the fieldCreative ability with a love of print, pattern and colorSHORT TERM GOALS (6-12 MONTHS)Able to pull department store reports independentlyKnowledgeable on current and future season lines for all BrandsDisplay ability to navigate smoothly from task to task and business to businessKnowledgeable on the benefits and fabrication of seasonal stylesGood working knowledge of order entry system and NUOrderQUALIFICATIONS:4-year college degree or equivalent.Requirement for 1-2 years of experience in wholesale branded and/or private label sales in an office environment Proficiency in MS Office; Mastery of advanced MS Excel
