Summary:
This role is responsible for developing, leading and managing an aggressive, dynamic sales team focused exclusively on Cold Chain services and solutions. This leader will be responsible for growing enterprise solutions and services globally by creating, managing and mentoring a fully functional sales team, tasked with identifying new opportunities in the Foodservice, Food Retail, Healthcare, Transportation and Industrial (entire Cold Chain) sales arena, as well as oversee our internal account management team. You will manage tactical and strategic initiatives while participating in sales pursuits. This position will partner with Product Management and Technology teams to develop and deliver solutions and services that ensure the best possible customer outcomes
Services & Solutions
Responsible for the successful delivery of moderate to large-scale client engagements and/or multiple smaller engagements across multiple accounts. This will include establishing a consistent delivery methodology on accounts, implementing industry accepted best practices, and overall helping to shape the direction and tenor of accounts from a delivery standpoint.
Manage the aftermarket book of business. Identify the opportunities to sustain and grow the channel while adding services for recurring revenue.
Initiate, plan, execute, control, resource management and forecasting, and closing complex applications and system installation projects using a formal project management methodology. Facilitate the development of strategic plans for projects of high business and technical complexity. May manage multiple Program releases of moderate to large size concurrently.
Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule. Provides feedback to Sales and Product Management to enhance customer experience, gross revenue and increase margins. Work with team members on process improvements, and other initiatives designed to improve the effectiveness and quality of interactive delivery within the business.
Sales Enablement and Sales Growth Office
Define, design and develop company-wide sales strategy initiatives in Enterprise Solutions Sales and Account Management, ensuring that they are consistent with the overall business strategy of the company. Also has a responsibility to increase sales revenue through the design and implementation of appropriate strategies for the each of the business's verticals, sales channels, and services.
Play a critical role in business planning, working closely with other senior executives to develop plans, key metrics, resource requirements, and influence company's long-term business strategy
Capture all accounts and customers with contact information and demographics, add all potential sales into opportunities, always have quarterly forecast current in Salesforce CRM.
Implement dashboards and performance reports to measure activity and effectiveness of sales team.
Analyze sales data (recommend price and volume action), sales manage productivity data, and rep productivity data. Ensure accurate forecasting and S&OP process with assigned areas. Ensure planning, forecasting, and budgeting are integrated with other Planning processes, particularly Finance.
Work with Senior Sales Management and Product Development to ensure products are supported for new product launches, sales programs, and general sales training.
Selection and creating of a scalable sales process to be implemented across the Cold Chain. Training and education of the process, while working with vertical leaders to ensure the process is being followed.
Driving and creating sales culture which includes empowering a highly engaged and motivated sales team.
Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing team to create a revenue program that yields improved sales, pipeline velocity and overall profitability.
Develop qualified prospects/customers, consistently increase sales funnel, and work with internal support groups to complete customer proposals, conduct onsite customer presentations, and negotiate contracts within established guidelines on price and contract terms.
Design and recommend go-to-market strategy for field sales in determining customer segments, reach, and frequency to maximize growth potential.
Lead cross functional projects to optimize business operations and sales effectiveness.
Drives cross business synergies, leveraging the comprehensive value of Emerson.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field. MBA required or desired experience.
Must demonstrate at least 10 years of working experience in a solution sales position in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Five years proven sales/business development management.
Strong customer focus: keen understanding of acquisition, deal lifecycle, retention, and customer experience.
Proven experience building & scaling highly-successful sales organizations.
Sales skills - Aggressive, action-oriented, results-oriented, prospecting, qualification, verbal presentation, negotiation and closing.
Extensive experience in Account Management, renewal sales, consultative selling, managing sales cycles, maintaining client relationships.
Experience with CRM and other customer management tools.
Competency with Microsoft Office applications and usage.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
Ability to work well in a team-selling and collaborative environment.
Strategic Mindset, ability to lead, ability to indirectly manage a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
