About the Role

The Production Designer will work as part of the digital creative team to help maintain and evolve assets for all North America brands. This role will create digital appropriate, web-ready graphics from final creative designs in a highly iterative, group development environment.

Responsibilities:

* Create web-ready graphics in multiple dimensions and formats from final creative designs in a highly iterative, group development environment


* Take creative direction from Director, Creative Content & execute production of designs accordingly


* Owner of page weight standards and procedures, including slicing graphics, file naming, image compression and optimization


* Handle basic design changes, such as color or text modifications and layout changes


* Handle some basic HTML setup after graphics are produced


* Make technical recommendations for implementation options related to user experience



Qualifications

* 2 years or more of full-time experience in an in-house Ecommerce team or agency


* Expert level understanding and at least 3 years experience producing web ready graphics, including the following:


* Creating email and web assets


* Image resizing & compression


* Slicing graphics


* Minor retouching to imagery


* Page weight optimization


* Excellent understanding and at least 2 years experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photohsop, Ilustrator, InDesign Bridge and Acrobat


* Must be a proactive problem solver with the ability to work within brand guidelines


* Good understanding of HTML


* Strong understanding of web development processes and best practices


* Attention to detail and an ongoing commitment to achieving high quality results


* Excellent organizational skills


* Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines


* Ecommerce experience


* Familiarity with Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe CC Libraries and Javascript a plus
