Who we are looking for

The Strategic Account Executive will sell EtQ software, services, and training within assigned vertical, accounts, or territory and generate sales through personal contact, prospecting, lead optimization, marketing events, business case justification, solution demonstrations, RFP responses, proposal presentations, contract negotiations, and solution selling. The Strategic Account Executive will also perform complete sales cycle activities from lead identification through contract negotiation, account transition to services, ongoing support and follow on sales. The Strategic Account Executive will maintain relationships with existing customers and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with all contacts. The position may be worked remotely.

What to expect
  • Close sales in assigned vertical, accounts or territory
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue quota objectives
  • Negotiate contracts with customers involving EtQ legal and management team as required
  • Identify new prospects and business opportunities; conceive and implement vertical and territory-based lead generation activities for EtQ products and services (activities may include account meetings, product / solution demonstrations, industry meetings, prospecting, cold calling, and account research)
  • Assess customer needs and qualify sales opportunities
  • Prepare, present, and clarify quotations and all related sale documentation to customers
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients at management and executive levels
  • Conduct regular account planning calls or site visits to establish or align to client road-mapping exercises.
  • Accurately forecast sales revenue specific to software, professional services, and training opportunity on a quarterly basis
  • Enter all activities and track all customer related issues in EtQ s CRM database in accordance with SOP s and EtQ Solution Selling Sales Process
  • Prepare and present Vertical QBR s (quarterly business reviews) to management on a quarterly basis
  • A thorough understanding of assigned industry(s), specific target markets and functional business activity is expected
  • Demonstrate customer-specific solution value of EtQ solutions with a high degree of proficiency
  • Must analyze and understand customer insights and market trends; adapt, communicate, and evolve strategies based on these changes
  • Work closely with EtQ s Pre-Sales team to coordinate product/ solution demonstrations and workshops for prospective clients
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct sales activities
  • Liaise customer support issues, service projects, and engagements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with customers and members of EtQ s client facing departments (Product Support, R&D, and QA departments) to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate customer audits and/ or visits to EtQ
  • Represent EtQ at industry trade shows and events
  • Continuously learn and certify on EtQ Reliance products and solutions


What you need to succeed
  • 3+ years experience selling enterprise software solutions to strategic level corporations
  • Experience selling to executive management and C-level executives
  • Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field of study
  • Proven success of quota attainment
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, analytical, and logical skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas in person, over the telephone, and in written correspondence
  • Understanding of basic Quality and/ or EH&S principals
  • Ability to work independently and a be a self-starter with excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Must be at ease establishing business relationships with individuals from various industries and departments at various corporate levels
  • Must be comfortable speaking before an audience between 2-50 people in either a live meeting or teleconference setting
  • Must be well versed in Windows and Internet technologies and skilled with MS Office
