Museum of Ice Cream is seeking an innovative, proactive VP/SVP of People to be a key executive at the Company, and to help us grow our rapidly scaling team. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of People will oversee the buildout of our people function, including all processes and systems, as we scale from 130 employees to multiple global locations and concepts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop HR strategies, building and overseeing all HR initiatives, systems and programs. Build and manage the People Team, mentoring and growing your team members across recruiting, people operations, and HR business partnership. Support company growth through strategic organizational design exercise, and improving on our compensation and leveling structure. Partner with senior leadership, coaching them and providing sound advice as you support them in building their teams. Help them to identify and build the people tools that they need to ensure their teams can be successful. Oversee recruiting - build the machine to help us recruit the best talent, ensuring there is transparency in the hiring process with our hiring managers, and our hiring managers are fully equipped and prepared in the process. Oversee HR operations - ensuring we are compliant and are growing our benefits programs, working towards becoming a world-class employer for full-time salaried and part-time hourly employees alike. Identify needs in the business, and build the people programs, policies, and processes that will prepare us for international, multi-location growth. Build the performance management philosophy and processes to ensure employees and managers are getting the performance feedback they need to be successful. Manage all employee relations concerns, serving as the point of escalation for all issues. Build a culture of learning and community through learning & development programming, team & company offsites/onsites, and fostering connections between MOIC Locations. ABOUT YOU: You MUST have at least 8 years of experience as a people/HR executive You MUST have extensive experience with location/unit-based, hourly populations You have deep knowledge in all areas of HR ranging from compliance, recruitment, compensation, and benefits to employee relations, HR business partnership and training. You have the ability to see BOTH the trees and the forest - you can dive deep into the details, but also know how to maintain oversight of the overall strategy You are lighthearted and contagiously optimistic and resilient You have a strong business acumen partnered with attention to the human element You are a data-driven leader You have excellent organizational and leadership skills You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills You are diligent and firm with high ethical standards You have a strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast- paced, out-of-the-box environment You have knowledge and/or the ability to adapt to city, state and country regulations You have a BS/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MS/MA or certification in human resources is a plus To Apply:Please visit company's website: to apply.
