For more information, visit Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex infrastructure (compute, storage, and virtualization) & operating systems. Manage day-to-day operations, troubleshoot problems, provide routine maintenance and capacity planning, provision resources, ensure security and high availability, develop and document procedures and practices. Supervise systems SMEs including providing technical solutions, fine tuning, training and evaluating performance. Remain current with new technologies, recommend new or improved services, tools and techniques. An experienced Systems Lead/Administrator to drive the complex infrastructure projects & manage a team of Systems SMEs for day-to-day operations. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex infrastructure (compute, storage, and virtualization) & operating systems. Manage day-to-day operations, troubleshoot problems, provide routine maintenance and capacity planning provision resources, ensure security and high availability, develop and document procedures and practices. Supervise systems SMEs including providing technical solutions, fine tuning, training and evaluating performance. Remain current with new technology, recommend new or improved services, tools and techniques. The individual will particularly need to have advanced skills in VMWare Virtualization, Cisco UCS, EMC Storage technologies, MS Active Directory, MS Windows, Standard tools & technologies to manage & monitor the infrastructure services. Responsibilities Technical Skills Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, advanced active directory Group Policies management, DNS, DHCP etc. Experience with AD Sites and Services Manage objectives in AD Domain Services that implement the inter-site replication topology Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking Strong expertise in VMWare including multi cluster environment, Cisco UCS integration, FI, Fiber Switches etc. Strong expertise on Storage technologies including design, configuration & management. Experience on EMC storage is preferred. Working knowledge on storage virtualization technologies like VPLEX is an additional advantage Cluster using Microsoft NLB, HW Load Balancer, Windows Clusters, Always On Clustering Working knowledge on Backup & DR replication technologies Basic understanding of database server administration (database backup, restore, maintenance plans, ODBC, etc.) Experience of supporting all levels of IT infrastructure from basic Windows support to troubleshooting complex technical issues in Virtualization, Storage or OS technologies Ability to operate at all levels within the organization and cross functionally within multiple Client organizations. Good understanding of Enterprise Monitoring tools viz SCOM and other monitoring tools. Software, Hardware Vendor / OEM Coordination and escalation Responsibilities: Technical Manager (Managed Infrastructure Services) Responsibilities include planning, implementations and maintenance of a variety of technical products and systems, including Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Microsoft OS, Active Directory, Disaster Recovery & other System Administrators tools & products, Providing SME / L2 and above level technical support. Demonstrates strong technical and analytical skills. . VMWare/System Administration (VM, HA Clusters, datacenters, Virtualization of Physical environment Strong knowledge in Virtualization, ESX, Vcenter, Virtual networking work experience Participates in the planning for future technologies. Strong communication skills and flexible team player Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Exhibits excellent service to others Qualifications Qualifications: At least 6-8 years in a similar role. Exposure to System and computing operations Bachelors Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Certification in VMware, EMC, and Microsoft is an additional advantage.
