This is a multi-facility position with 6 Direct Reports. Experience in Children's as well as Adult facilities strongly desired. Salary is based on years of experience, Salary STARTS at $103,000. This is also a bonus eligible role. Minimum Education and Experience: Registered Nurse and requires a BSN and / or requires a degree in a health related field (Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate) At least 5 years of experience working as a licensed / credentialed provider in a Quality/Performance Improvement department and at least 5 years hospital management experience. You should have experience leading interdisciplinary initiatives in process improvement or directly with improving reliability of healthcare delivery at the point of care Required Certification: CPHQ (Certified Professional Healthcare Quality) or eligibility to sit for the exam within 2 years of employment. Here is a bit of what a typical day would look like for you in this role: Demonstrated knowledge of Performance Improvement, Outcomes and Quality Management, using and applying quality management diagnostic tools (defect analysis, fault tree analysis). Demonstrated success in the areas of Peer Review, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Infection Control Prevention and Reporting. Knows how to analyze complex health care process and outcome data using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation skills) Computer operational skills, understanding of statistics, spreadsheets and database systems. Working knowledge and understanding of Joint Commission (JC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), State requirements and other regulatory standards / processes. Demonstrated understanding of current trends in quality and other areas of responsibility as applicable. Ability to design and implement intermediate and complex projects using rapid cycle and other quality management methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
