Position Summary:

The Senior ProjectManager Application Software will be responsible for leading highly technicalsoftware development projects relating to current and/or future NxStageproducts. This person must have prior experience managing projectsinvolving web and application software using a structured product developmentprocess in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee theactivities of a 3-5 person team on a daily basis

Lead projectmeetings and report on project status and schedules

Refine / completesoftware requirements; collaborate with product management, software qualityand engineering teams to ensure that requirements reflect design intent

Refine / completesoftware development plans to meet overall program schedule objectives

Negotiate in a waythat creates partnerships

Work in partnershipwith other colleagues, within and outside the project team

Lead / participatein formal stage-gate design reviews

Collaborate with SQAteam to develop V&V test plans / protocols, etc.

Ensure adherence toand compliance with organizational policies, guidelines, and objectives

Participate in peercode reviews, use-case testing, debug, etc.

Approach roadblocksas something to overcome, identify alternatives and recommend solutions

Field escalationsfrom technical support and funnel to lead developer when appropriate

Qualifications

Skills &Experience:

Prior experience ina Software functional and/or technical project leadership role required

Must beknowledgeable / experienced in all aspects of applicable medical devicesoftware development standards and processes

Strong applicationprogramming skills & experience preferred

Strong diagnostic& problem-solving skills desired, including root cause analysis andtroubleshooting

Familiarity withsource control, version management, and configuration management practicesdesired

Able to communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing

Experiencemaintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information

Excellent peoplemanagement and collaboration skills required

Education &Qualifications:

BS in ComputerScience, Electrical Engineering, or similar relevant discipline; Master sdegree strongly preferred

10+ years ofexperience in increasingly responsible positions
