Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Leads Business Development Managers in exceeding assigned individual goals by measuring sales activities and managing weekly, monthly and yearly sales objectives
Responsible for mentorship, coaching and development of BDM team
Drives a culture of disciplined and accurate sales forecasting
Drives a disciplined account planning framework with all accounts
Ensures consistency of Evanta and Gartner sales methodologies across all opportunities
Builds and maintains a high-performance sales team
Hold team accountable to high activity measures, including sales calls and face-to-face meetings
Works directly with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurement and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success
Closely monitors individual sales performance to ensure sales objectives are achieved
Continually drives the sales team's understanding of the core value proposition
Actively and frequently participates on sales calls and continuously coaches direct reports
Meets retention and maintains revenue account objectives
Develop, assign and manage individual team member KPI's and ensures accuracy of reporting to department leadership
Develops and recommends new tools as needed.
Provides timely feedback on individual performance including sales target goals
Continually monitors and builds the sales pipeline for increased growth and timely closure of sales leads
Directly responsible for leading Business Development Managers
5 - 8 direct reports
Proven ability to lead a seasoned sales team through coaching and mentorship
Ability to foster close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other senior executives
Able to deliver and execute presentations to audience
Able to create meaningful proposals
Measure, calculate, and share sales and financial results
Four year college degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 10 years of sales experience
Minimum 10 years of sales management of people experience in a business-to-business environment
Available for frequent travel, all hours
