Job Description

  • Non-Profit in the Bronx looking for a Housing Administrator/ALP Director to join their team
  • Responsibilities will include: Hire, train, supervise, support, and evaluate staff to ensure the provision of high quality services to the ALP residents Plan and implement work assignments for staff to ensure adequate staffing on a 24-hour basis Ensure that periodic audits are done to be in compliance with regulatory guidelines Monitor, evaluate and implement strategies to optimize employee satisfaction Develop, monitor and meet the annual budget expectations of the ALP Ensure that the daily operations of the residential properties are managed appropriately and effectively in accordance with established policies and federal and state guidelines Responsible for the oversight, development and implementation of initiatives designed to increase occupancy or lease renewal rates Coordinate and participate with Business Development to ensure that there is a steady stream of new admission applicants, to meet budgeted occupancy Maintain relevant community and advocacy involvement to keep current on regulations and trends
  • Qualifications

    Experience in ALP required

    Masters degree from accredited college/university and one year of related work experience OR Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and 3 years of related experience acceptable to the DOH in supervisory capacity
